Florida Stone Crabs are harvested from the waters of Southern Florida - one claw at a time. A renewable resource from the water, Florida Stone Crabs will regenerate a removed claw, a process that takes about a year.

That’s what Josh did nearly 10 years ago when he joined the company, after holding hospitality leadership positions at multiple Southern California resorts and clubs. Prior to joining Water Grill San Diego as General Manager in 2023, Josh held roles of increasing responsibility with the company, including Regional Service Manager for Water Grill and General Manager at King’s Fish House – San Jose. This experience has imparted perspective to Josh on how our product makes people feel special. He’s integral to delivering that satisfaction daily in San Diego, making a difference in both crewmembers’ lives and Guests’ experiences.
Just as Water Grill is a seafood institution in San Diego, so too is Chef Jason in the culinary world of America’s Finest City. Jason has over 20 years of executive chef experience and culinary direction from greater San Diego restaurants, including Executive Chef at Union Kitchen & Tap, Humphreys Half Moon Inn, Bankers Hill Bar & Restaurant, Cohn Restaurant Group and Table No. 10, which he also owned. In February 2023, Jason was drawn to the Executive Chef role at Water Grill by the culture of the company and quality of the product. The bustling atmosphere drives him daily, as does developing the next generation of chefs.
Being a host with the company in 2019 literally opened the door to the experiences Arian wanted to create for Guests. Today, as Event Sales Manager, she’s passionate about collaborating with Guests to create something unforgettable and unique for every event. San Diego isn’t just where Arian works – it’s a city that she loves. Outside of the restaurant, Arian is highly active in her hometown as a San Diego Tourism Authority member, California Restaurant Association member and works closely with the Padres, PETCO Park and visitors to the San Diego Convention Center.
